I collected stamps as a child till my teens. Then I went on to pursue a life for myself. But stamps always remained my fantasy and my friends. I still keep my some 10,000 plus stamp albums. These remind me of the good days when stamp collecting was a majority's hobby.

Hi Nathan,

I had no idea that you're writing a blog, and such an interesting one, I must say.
I was delighted to read this post. As a child, I was a dedicated stamp collector and had some rare stamps which were passed on to me by my grandfather.
Unfortunately, my collection was stolen when a thief had broken into our house. :(
Anyway, I share your stamps-enthusiasm and lately I've been thinking of starting my stamp collection again.
